I am Paul Francis and I am performing arts portrait and beauty photographer based in Merseyside, United Kingdom.
I’ve always been in and drawn to the world of creativity and art. From the age of 14 (in school) to my mid 30’s, I played many venues as a singer / songwriter and I worked in the music industry as an artist, writer and producer. I spent many years in studios, countless live gigs on stages of all different sizes and I was always around some of the most incredible and talented musicians, writers, engineers and producers as well as photographers and associated.
So, photography, was a natural extension of this. I loved landscape photography, then I graduated to street photography then portrait work. The latter grabs me the most. I find people, their story and journey to be fascinating. Often their lives are etched in their faces.
